Bound for the high country—Outward Bound, that is…

ob_me.jpgI’m headed to the mountains again this week, to the country’s highest town and beyond, where I’ll be romping in the woods on assignment with Outward Bound Wilderness. The participants are all teachers from the Expeditionary Learning Schools Outward Bound program in Puerto Rico, here in Colorado for some climbing, hiking, and fun.

To Serve, To Strive, and Not to Yield! Of course, being experts on OB philosophy, I’m sure we’ll also be discussing Kurt Hahn and the four pillars—and singing a few rancheras ’round the fogata. I love when various worlds of mine converge, especially when they involve speaking Spanish and the great outdoors.
